TCB - Statement of Faith

The Chippy Barn®️ statement of faith is as follows:
Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Romans 10:13-17
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who [a]preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three persons in one Godhead. We reject modalism. God created the universe and all that is in it by His spoken Word. He spoke everything into existence by the Word of His Power. All things were created by Jesus and for Jesus and He alone holds the elements and everything together. God created man in His own image, Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world and said it is finished once the full wrath of God was poured out on Him on the cross to pay for our sins that we could never pay for ourselves, then He died, was buried, and was raised from the dead by God on the third day being victorious over sin and death. Jesus is God. God is not willing that anyone should perish but all come to repentance. Gods Word says whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved as Romans 10:13-17 states.
The Chippy Barn believes in and holds to a Pre- Tribulation view of the Rapture of the church.
We do not believe Daniels seventieth week of years has taken place yet as we believe this will be the 7 years of tribulation, and in the middle of this week is where the antichrist will sit in the newly re built temple of the Jewish people and declare himself to be god and to be worshipped. We believe this is the time when the mark of the beast will take place as Gods Word shows the mark, whatever it may be, will be a requirement to buy or sell as written in Gods Word in (Revelation 13)
