My name is Fallon Yates and I am the owner, artist, and author behind Market House Restorations. I have been in business for a little over two years and I do all of my work from my home-studio which is located in Salem, Virginia. In addition to painting, I have a blog with a ton of free tips and tutorials on how to paint and restore furniture, along with free tips on thrifting and staging! I also have an eBook on how to stage your furniture called, Your Virtual Storefront.
ABOUT RESTORATION GREEN
I chose the color Restoration Green because I was instantly connected to it. I was once told that a room is not complete until it has a touch of green in it and I have followed that rule ever since I’ve owned a home. Restoration Green is a nice neutral pop of color. It’s not too blue and it’s not too yellow which is exactly what drew me to it. It can also be accented with any neutral color glaze or wax, which is nice! This green is my go-to color because it compliments many different styles of furniture and color palettes within the home.
