I began painting four years ago when I started a new season in life. Transitions can be hard and painting became a therapy and ignited a creative light in my soul that I didn’t know was there. I love the feeling of being able to save a piece of furniture and transform it so it will be loved in a home for years to come. The pieces I’m drawn to and inspire my creativity are the Jacobean and Empire Styles. I live in an 1834 New Hampshire Colonial Farmhouse with a beautiful barn and land. I have an amazing family including three children in their twenties who are my world.
ABOUT EST. 1834
EST. 1834, is a soft gray with just a hint of sage green undertones. It’s not too warm and it’s not too cool. It’s the perfect neutral tone that will look amazing on furniture and cabin try of any style. I chose this color from the granite steps of the 1834 New Hampshire Farmhouse that I call home.
